E10: Book Haulidays Part Two – On a Hunting Trip and Haven't Been Home in a Few Days – Infinite TBR
Smack made a joke about parents being on a hunting trip and “haven’t been home in a few days” and the reference sailed on by Gabi.
Turns out Gabi had never seen Supernatural. Smack may have quit watching about seven seasons in (back in the dark ages when Supernatural had not devolved into quite such a flaming dumpster fire, *sniff.*), but she sure schooled Gabi on that quote.

And the tumblr post about costume design in Netflix’s show The Witcher can be found here.
Also worth mentioning–there are no spoilers to worry about in this episode! Although Smack does clear her throat an awful lot, sorry about that.

(Pawn is the one where the main characters are monster hunters and they haven’t been home in a few days, but you don’t need to know a thing about Supernatural to enjoy the book. It’s just a funny little Easter egg.)

Books Mentioned:

Gabi’s family chose The Inferno as their latest family book club selection, but Smack just about LOST it when Gabi said they’re all reading different translations. (Who DOES THAT? The chaos that must ensue.)
(Also, fun fact: if you look up “the inferno” on Goodreads, the search returns a lot of erotica. Do what you will with this knowledge.)

Gabi wants to reread The Black Jewels trilogy but Smack strongly recommends against it because those books just do not hold up.
